Takehito Koyasu, Adam's Japanese voice actor, has previously voiced Clayman in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, Dio Brando in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and the hand demon in Demon Slayer. SK8 the Infinity (SK, Esukeito) is an original anime series directed by Hiroko Utsumi and produced by studio Bones. Though he's taken Miya under his guidance, Adam is dismissive and insulting to the younger skater. Adam has been enamored with Langa since he first saw him skate, and Langa's presence at 'S' has given him the motivation to compete once again. With a slew of tricks up his sleeve that frequently leave his opponents seriously injured, challenging Adam is seen as career suicide- but for their friends, Reki and Langa don't hesitate to challenge him.

As one of the founders of 'S,' Adam is infamous at the races for being currently undefeated and overly flamboyant. Ainosuke Shindo- who goes by 'Adam' or 'Matador of Love' at 'S'- is a popular politician with a successful career. Since it aired earlier this year, Sk8 the Infinity has been making all sorts of waves in the anime community.
